Olympus refuses to confirm partnership with Samsung on Galaxy S22s camera #IndiaNEWS #Mobile
Olympus has refused to comment on the widely circulated news about its supposed partnership with Samsung for the Galaxy S22s camera.



Many rumors have been flying around with regards to Samsungs Galaxy S22 series. In one of such rumors, it is said that Samsung may likely partner with world-renowned camera producer, Olympus, to help in bringing forth its certified cameras in its upcoming flagship products. However, looking at the antecedents, and in comparison to other manufacturers, Samsung does not usually do this. Just like Apple, the Samsung brand is known for always maintaining its uniqueness when making its phones and other products.



Now, Olympus has debunked the growing rumors in a statement to Android Authority by one of the marketing representatives of the Olympus firm. He insists that there is nothing to announce if its about a partnership between Samsung and Olympus.



Speaking further, the representative said at the moment, the only official statement to give to anyone from Olympus side is that there is nothing to announce or talk about, at least from the companys own point of view.



However, the interesting thing about the statement is the way it is not straightforward, at best, the statement sounds ambiguous and veiled. In a way, the statement does not directly deny if therell ever be a partnership, it only confirms that nothing of such has happened, at least not yet. Well, our fingers are crossed.



And, we have seen a lot of collaborations in the times past between brands. For example, Zeiss cooperated with Nokia, and Huawei also did the same with Leica at a point. However, Samsung and Apple are the only two brands that have not been involved in any major cooperations so far, only partnering with other manufacturers for small, internal components. So we anticipate and hope to see if theres actually any truth to the rumors or not as we await Samsungs upcoming flagship product.
