Telangana: Vinod advises Opposition leaders for constructive criticism #IndiaNEWS #News
Hyderabad: Telangana State Planning Board vice chairman B Vinod Kumar said the Centres affirmation on growth of Telangana once again reiterated the impressive performance of the State across all domains. He hoped that the latest facts furnished by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI) should be an eye opener for the Opposition parties. The Opposition leaders were advised to indulge in constructive criticism rather than blatant mud-slinging without factual data on the TRS government.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Vinod Kumar said Telangana emerged as one of the top performers in comparison with the other States as well as the country as a whole, both in terms of the Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) and the Per Capita Income (PCI) as per the second Advance Estimates of National Income for the year 2021-22, along with the Advance Estimates for the GSDP of 10 states in the country. It’s a matter of pride for the youngest state of India to chug along the path of progress in an unprecedented manner, he said.
The Planning Board vice chairman stated that life in the rural areas has improved significantly due to the measures taken by the TRS government under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao. After the formation of the State, he said even the remotest districts in the State were competing with each other for the top place in education, sanitation and irrigation.
The Telangana government is the only government in the country to have prioritised rural well being by restoring water bodies under Mission Kakatiya. It’s the only State to have materialised the dream project of former President late APJ Abdul Kalam, PURA (Provide Urban amenities in Rural Areas) due to the vision of the Chief Minister, he added.
