YMCA Secunderabad in pre-quaters of Annual League Basketball Championship #IndiaNEWS #Basketball
Hyderabad: YMCA Secunderabad entered pre-quaterfinals after defeating State Bank of India 41-33 in the second round of the Level-I of Annual League Basketball Championship held at the City College Basketball Grounds, Hyderabad on Saturday.
YMCA started its game with a fast pace and took a seven-point lead in the first quarter (14-7). By the end of the second quarter, YMCA extended their lead 32-23. Rohan scored 15, Vamshi and Varma scored 10 and six respectively to guide their side to victory. For State Bank of India Sloka scored 11 points.
In another match, Keystone Basketball Academy (KBA) defeated Telangana Police 46-30.
Results: Round 2: Keystone Basketball Academy 46 (Subhash 11, Vaishnav 8, Rohan 7) bt Telangana Police 30 (Pavan 12, Sai Krishna 6, Prasad 6); YMCA Secunderabad 41 (Rohan 15, Vamshi 10, Varma 6) bt State Bank of India 33 (Sloka 11, Raghu 9, Ravikanth 5).
