LG is to manage display production for HP and Apple #IndiaNEWS #Tech
The range of display that LG produces are much in demand in the market and the new listings in the patents show that LG is quite a sensation now. Earlier quite many news of patents were found on various websites showing the collaboration of LG with Apple.

Although the rumors of a foldable device was in talks since 2014, the device was finally revealed to be a laptop by none other than Apple. This was further proved when several patent filings surfaced in time.

It was the month of May, last year that witnessed the launch of a hybrid foldable laptop from the house of Apple. There are reports as to show that further work is in progress regarding the folding OLED panel display from LG in the laptops of Apple.

Now HP is also under the same roof as it is planning to launch its next-gen laptops with the usage of display panels from LG. This year LG Display is supposed to be supplying 17-inch foldable notebook OLED panels to Hewlett-Packard (HP). The folding mechanism will be an in-folding panel that will come with a 4K (38402160) resolution.

It is important to note that the displays that are being purchased from LG will be designed specifically for tablets and notebooks that will utilize ultra-thin glass as the cover window instead of polyimide.

In the past, we have seen LG producing displays for Lenovo laptops too. The ThinkPad X1 Fold in 2020 carried its display produced by LG. Hence it is not new that its displays are quite in vogue. The news of the moment has it that LG is about to launch around 10000 units of this panel in the third quarter of this year.

The tech world is eagerly waiting for these two tech giants to bring into action the result of this fantastic collaboration. For more updates on this, stay connected.
