Share Market Closing Bell: Nifty ends below 15,300, Sensex falls 135 pts #IndiaNEWS #Business
On the last trading day of the week, Nifty opened on a negative note and made a new 52 week low at 15183.40 level but showed bounce back moment as it managed to close at 15335.10 level with a loss of 25.50 points. However, Bank Nifty closed the session at 32743.05 level with a gain of 125.95 points. 35 Out of Nifty 50 ended in red which suggest broad based selling.





Among sectors, IT, healthcare, oil & gas down 1 percent each, while buying was seen in the metal and banking names. In Nifty Stocks, BAJAJFINSV, BAJFINANCE, COALINDIA, JSWSTEEL & RELIANCE were the top gainers, While TITAN, WIPRO, HDFCLIFE & UPL were the prima laggards. India VIX closed above 20 at 22.76 level with a loss of 0.48%.
On the Technical Front, The Nifty has been trading with Lower High & Lower low formation on weekly charts which suggest downside movement in the counter. Nifty has given a breakdown of horizontal line and trading below 200 DMA which adds weakness in the trend.
Nifty has given closing below 100*200-Hourly Moving Averages which indicate it can show more downside in the counter. The momentum indicators Stochastic & MACD were trading with a negative crossover on a daily chart which suggested a southward journey in the counter. The Nifty may find support around 15000 levels while on the upside 15500 may act as an immediate hurdle. On the other hand, Bank nifty has support at 32300 levels while resistance at 33800 levels.
Overall, Nifty is looking weak on charts , breaching below 15000 can show more downside.
