V Muraleedharan backs Kerala Governor for staying appointment of Associate Professor #IndiaNEWS #National
New Delhi August 18 (ANI): MoS MEA V Muraleedharan on August 18 backed Kerala Government’s decision to stay appointment of Priya Varghese, wife of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayans private secretary KK Rajesh, ex-MP, as Associate Professor in the Department of Malayalam, Kannur University (KU). Speaking to ANI, Muraleedharan said, “This is not a tussle, it is just that the Governor is being the custodian and he is upholding the rule of law in the case of the appointment of a lady who is a relative of CPM leader.� “In Keralas Universities, Governor has already mentioned that CPM leaders are misusing their power for their personal benefits. In this case, Governor has upheld the law. I would like to congratulate him for creating a situation where justice prevails,� he added.
