Rousing welcome at Uppal as CM KCR heads to Munugode #IndiaNEWS #News
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao received a rousing welcome throughout his journey to Munugode where he addressed the Praja Deevena Sabha on Saturday.
Thousands of TRS leaders and activists welcomed him all along the route from Begumpet to Munugode. They put up a dais at Secunderabad, Uppal crossroads, LB Nagar and Choutuppal, among other areas, to welcome him. The entire route up to Munugode was decked up with TRS flags and buntings.
The Chief Minister greeted the party leaders from the bus in which he was travelling. His convoy also included over 5,000 cars.
While Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav flagged off a rally from Municipal Playgrounds in West Marredpally, Secunderabad Cantonment MLA G Sayanna also flagged off a car rally to Munugode. Holding party flags, the leaders raised ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans and welcomed the Chief Minister.
A large number of leaders and activists from the twin cities headed to Munugode to make the public meeting a grand success. Tight security arrangements were in place right from Begumpet to Munugode and police ensured that the Chief Minister’s convoy proceeded to the meeting venue smoothly.
