�Ahmednagar (Maharashtra), Aug 30 (ANI): Aspirants in Ahmednagar of Maharashtra queued up as the Indian Army conducted ‘Agniveer’ recruitment rally on August 29. “In Pune zone, 7 for male aspirants and one rally for female aspirants will be held. The areas under Pune zone are Maharashtra, Goa, Gujarat, Daman and Diu, Dadra and Nagar Haveli,� said Major General Ajey Sethi. The Union Cabinet approved the Agnipath scheme on June 14 and the youth selected under this scheme will be known as Agniveers. The government had announced that 46,000 Agniveers to be recruited this year.
