⁣New Delhi, Feb 23 (ANI): Congress leaders on February 23 held a protest after party leader Pawan Khera was stopped by Delhi Police at Airport. He was stopped from boarding after Delhi Police received a request from Assam Police.Supporters gathered in large numbers outside the Delhi airport and raised slogans in support of Pawan Khera. Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has deployed forces to control the situation. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) and Assam Police are also present at Delhi Airport to arrest Pawan Khera.There is no impact on flight movements at the Delhi airport.“Today we were going for the Congress Plenary Sessoin to Raipur, and our colleague Pawan Khera was told that he left his luggage but he was not carrying any luggage. Then the Police came and said Assam Police has registered an FIR,” Congress leader Randeep Singh Surjewala said. “I was told they wanted to see my luggage. I said I dont have anything except a handbag. When I came down from the aircraft, I was told I cant go and DCP will come. I dont know why I am being stopped,” Congress leader Pawan Khera said.
