Bandi Sanjay lacks knowledge on Parliamentary practices: Gutha #IndiaNEWS #Nalgonda
Nalgonda: TRS MLC Gutha Sukender Reddy on Wednesday said that the BJP state president Bandi Sanjay was making a hue and cry on Government decision to go ahead with the Assembly session without the Governors speech, as he lacked knowledge of Parliamentary practices.
Speaking at a media conference here, Sukender Reddy said that the Governor would address the joint sitting of Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council only in the first session of the House after proroguing the earlier session. If not prorogued, any sitting of the both houses would not be considered as a new session. Moreover, Governor would address the joint sitting of both houses for budget session only.
He reminded that Assembly session conducted in November, 2021 was not prorogued till now. He reminded that the budget session of Legislative Assembly of united Andhra Pradesh had conducted without Governor’s speech in 1970 and 2013. There was no truth in the allegation of the BJP leaders that the state government was insulting the Governor. He reminded that the BJP government at the Centre was misusing the Governor’s system for its political benefits, which was unacceptable.
He said that the TRS would utilize Prashanth Kishore’s team (PK team) for technical requirements and also collect the opinions of the public on some topics. The leaders of the opposition parties should keep it in mind that the political strategies of the Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao never failed. Stating that BJP and Congress were not capable to face elections in 2023 in the state, he reminded that Congress was struggling with in-fight in the party and BJP would not have even candidates for contesting in the elections.
