Efforts being made to develop courts on corporate level: Telangana HC judges #IndiaNEWS #Khammam
Khammam: Efforts were being made to develop courts of law in the State at corporate level, stated judges from Telangana High Court. Justices A Rajashekhar Reddy, T Vinod Kumar, P Naveen Rao and A Venkateshwara Reddy inaugurated the new court buildings and a gymnasium at the district court complex here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, the High Court judges revealed that the emphasis was on clearing cases pending at different courts in the State. They stated that the judges, advocates and the court staff made brave efforts in clearing the cases during the Covid-19 crisis. They also assured all help from the High Court for development of basic infrastructure and other facilities at different courts in the State.
The HC judges averred that the media plays a crucial role in taking the judgments given by the courts into the public. However, caution must be maintained while reporting the judgments related to POCSO and attrocities against women. Besides adopting a people-friendly approach, they suggested the advocates to strive to improve their professional skills and also guide the junior advocates.
Khammam Administrative Judge Vinod Kumar said additional court buildings required at courts in the district would soon be built and vacancies of judges would be filled up. He urged the Commissioner of Police to take initiative towards speedy disposal of cases.
The first ever gymnasium at a court complex in the State has come up at Khammam court and it would be emulated at other courts in Telangana. A senior lawyer Swamy Ramesh and Swamy Gurunadham were appreciated for their contribution in setting up the facility at the court.
