Chandigarh, July 30 (ANI): Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann spoke to the media on July 30 regarding the illegal encroachment in Block Majri of SAS Nagar. The government has succeeded in freeing 2,828 acres of land and a probe will be initiated in the matter.He said, “Yesterday we freed 2,828 acres of illegally encroached land worth over Rs 350 crore in Block Majri of SAS Nagar. They got panchayat, forest land registered in their name. It will be probed how these encroachers had occupied the land. So far, 9,053 acres of land have been freed from encroachers and handed over to the panchayat and forest department.�
