Monetary Policy Committee’s decision will continue to be guided by domestic factors: RBI Governor #IndiaNEWS #National
�Mumbai, Sep 30 (ANI): Shaktikanta Das, Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, stated on September 30 that the domestic variables will continue to influence the decision of the Monetary Policy Committee. Additionally, he stated that MPC does not take the appreciation or depreciation of the rupee into account. “MPC (Monetary Policy Committee) decisions continue to be guided will be guided by domestic factors. There are 2 components in the Monetary Policy framework-inflation and growth appreciation/depreciation of Rupee isnt a factor for consideration for MPC,� said Shaktikanta Das.
